Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Estimator to assess residential projects, prepare accurate bids, and support the sales and production teams. This role is critical in ensuring projects are properly scoped, competitively priced, and set up for success from the start.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to evaluate roofing and siding projects
• Measure roofs, siding areas, and exterior components accurately
• Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, and material takeoffs
• Analyze labor, materials, and project costs to ensure profitability
• Work with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
• Collaborate with sales and production teams to align project scope
• Review plans, photos, and documentation for accuracy
• Communicate clearly with homeowners when needed
• Track and follow up on submitted estimates

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating experience in construction (roofing/siding preferred)
• Strong understanding of residential exterior systems
• Experience with measurement tools (e.g., aerial measurement software or on-site measuring)
• Ability to read and interpret project scopes and plans
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficient with computers and estimating software (e.g., Excel, CRM systems)
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Skills

• Experience with insurance restoration and storm damage estimates
• Familiarity with platforms like Xactimate or similar estimating software
• Sales or customer-facing experience
• Knowledge of local building codes and materials

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter / Crew Supervisor to run residential roofing and siding projects from start to finish. This role requires someone who can lead a crew, stay hands-on in the field, and ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew on roofing and siding projects
• Plan daily workflow and keep projects on schedule
• Perform hands-on work including:
  • Asphalt shingle roofing, tear-offs, repairs, and installs
  • Siding installation (vinyl, fiber cement, wood, etc.)
  • Flashing, trim, soffit, fascia, and exterior details
• Ensure proper installation techniques and weatherproofing
• Maintain a safe job site, including fall protection compliance
• Inspect work for quality and code compliance
• Communicate with homeowners and project managers
• Manage materials, tools, and job site organization
• Train and mentor crew members

Qualifications

• Experience in roofing and/or siding
• Proven experience leading or supervising a crew
• Strong knowledge of exterior construction methods and materials
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
• Ability to read project scopes and plans
• Strong problem-solving skills on-site
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multiple siding systems (vinyl, fiber cement, engineered wood)
• Knowledge of proper flashing and ventilation systems
• OSHA certification (especially fall protection)
• Ability to operate equipment (lifts, dump trailers, etc.)
